RUSLUG is the Student Linux User Group (SLUG); an organization on campus focused on promoting the use and continued development of free and open-source software (FOSS) but invites any type of computer enthusiast to participate. This includes developers, system administrators, and tinkers. We emphasize that openness, sustainability, and security should be concerns of developers in how they distribute their software. In contrast to many other computing clubs on campus, SLUG gives much attention to hobbyist, historical, and other non-strictly commercial uses for computers.
