Professor Michael Littman received the 2008 School of Arts and Sciences Award for Distinguished Contributions to Undergraduate Education on May 6, 2008. At the ceremony, Acting SAS Dean Ziva Galili termed Littman "an educator of distinction at Rutgers...an extraordinary teacher, mentor and researcher". She specifically lauded his new successful computer fluency course, CS 105 - "Great Insights in Computer Science" as well as his mentoring of undergraduate researchers.
