Rutgers hires two faculty members: Andrew Nealen and Alexander Schliep

Rutgers Computer Science Department has hired two new faculty members:

Andrew Nealen (Technische Universitaet Berlin, Germany) will be joining our faculty in Fall'08 as an Assistant Professor. His research interests span computer graphics, geometric modeling, physically-based modeling and interactive entertainment.

Alexander Schliep (University of Cologne, Germany) will be joining our faculty in Fall'08 as an Associate Professor. Alexander's expertise includes data mining, statistical models, and algorithms for analyzing complex and heterogeneous data from molecular biology.

Andrew and Alexander are extraordinary additions to our department.
