The job is related to creating a super-computing platform for experimenting with a certain a class of algorithms that one might call "local algorithms." Many of the experiments will be motivated by the quantum computing framework and will model quantum computers.

The undergrad collaborators will be involved in the research papers if they can creatively contribute to the techniques.

Good programming skills, curious mind and quick learning abilities are assumed, but no knowledge of physics or any specific subject. Everything will be explained.

The job also involves creating a web site for the newly forming lab (Local Computation Lab).

The students will be payed 15 dollars /hour, and work up to 20 hours a week.
