What do you like best about this course?:

Well chosen papers each week

The lectures were engaging, and the topics covered were well chosen.

I was glad the course was based on reading papers instead of a textbook. Even though it's not a seminar, I think it's a good way to do it.

Prof. did an excellent work in explaining terms and techniques to students.

The reasearch discussions

got to know basics and current trends in the field

If you were teaching this course, what would you do differently?:

Give better guidelines for the term paper and set more incremental deadlines

I would give the chance to do your own project / regular class mini projects! so that people can learn in their own suited way

In what ways, if any, has this course or the instructor encouraged your intellectual growth and progress?:

I know a lot more about how computers are vulnerable to attack

I also learned from him of how to have a good presentation. Composing notes for papers was an effective way to learn.

Professor was very supportive when I was going through a bad time!

Other comments or suggestions::

Since I took the class to satisfy a B credit requirement, I'd prefer to work less hard on this class in order to have more time for research.

more student interaction like small projects instead just one final project throughout the course will generate better participation
