Current Job Function

  • Desktop/Laptop/Mobile Device Support
    Primary support person for micro computer & networking related need in the department. Platform includes Windows/Mac/Linux computers and mobile devices.
  • Wireless Support and Administration
    Created/maintains/monitors Research Wireless wireless gateways, authenticator, and enhanced systems as needed to ensure continuous uptime by monitoring usage.
  • System  Resource Monitoring and Accounting
    Implemented, maintained, monitor Nagios system, analyze usage of services running in the department to ensure continuous uptime and accountability of department resource utilization and environment.
  • Windows OS Remote Desktop
    Implemented/managed/maintain Windows Remote Desktop server to provide Cloud based access to Windows OS to CS Students/Faculty.
  • Linux OS Remote Desktop
    Deployed and manage Windows Remote Desktop and X2Go system to enable access to a full graphical interface of a Linux system remotely, as if you are sitting in front of your computer.
  • Conference Rooms Podium.
    Created and maintain Hangout Virtual Attendance System and Podium control system for Remote attendance and local conference room to simplify control of multimedia equipment and projection systems in the room as well as providing ability for multiple users to simultaneously and wirelessly project via AirPlay technology.
  • Microsoft Academic Software
    Manage Computer Science DreamSpark Premium that makes available a significant collection of Microsoft development software for Academic purposes at no charge to their CS faculty, staff, and declared CS majors only.
