The new US News & World Report ranking the Computer Science Departments is out, and our Department has improved its Ranking 6 positions for 2017. The ranking of the department went from the top 34 best Computer Science Departments in 2016 (The 2016 rankings are given here) to top 28 in US for 2017 (See the US News & World Report for 2017 ,shown as US departments only, ranked for Computer Science). This is a significant improvement and credit should go to the faculty for making this happen.
