Prof. Thu Nguyen is the recipient of a 2014 Software Engineering Innovation Foundation Award from Microsoft Research. The award will support his project, entitled “CoolProvision: Provisioning of Cooling Systems for Datacenters”. According to Microsoft’s website, only 12 projects were selected from funding from more than 100 proposals received.
