At the MIE (Medical Informatics Europe) 2016 Conference during the General Assembly Meeting of the International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA) on August 28th, Prof. Casimir Kulikowski was presented with a certificate for the IMIA Working Group of the Year Award for 2015, which was won by the IMIA History Working Group, which he chairs.
This is the second year in a row where Prof. Kulikowski and his colleagues at the IMIA History Working Group have won this IMIA Award – which is quite an unusual achievement, and is related to the team’s work in organizing a 50th Anniversary IMIA History of International Biomedical and Health Informatics, which is to be completed and published by IOS Press for the 50th anniversary of IMIA in 2017.
