Bio
Murtadha Aldeer graduated with a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from WINLAB/Rutgers University in October 2023 where he was supervised by Professor Richard Martin and Professor Jorge Ortiz. He is currently an Assistant Teaching Professor at Montclair State University. His research interests include Cyber-Physical Systems, Connected Health, Internet of Things, and Smart Buildings. He is passionate about teaching, mentoring students and community organizing. He has taught a variety of courses in computer science and computer engineering since 2018.

Abstract: This lecture will explore the fundamentals of Boolean Algebra with a particular emphasis on simplifying Boolean expressions using Karnaugh-Maps (K-maps). We will demonstrate how this method efficiently simplifies Boolean expressions, which is invaluable for minimizing Logic Circuits.
