Biography: 

Swastik Kopparty is jointly appointed at the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Computer Science. His research interests are in Theoretical Computer Science, Discrete Mathematics, Error-Correcting Codes, Computational Complexity, Finite Fields, Randomness and Pseudorandomness.

He got his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2010, and he was a postdoc at the Institute for Advanced Study during 2010-2011. He has been at Rutgers since 2011.
