UPDATE FOR Festival 1.4.2 ****

Changes to these files that were made in Festival 1.4.2 have been
applied to the files in the original OGI patch which was obtained
from:

    ftp://cslu.cse.ogi.edu/pub/tts/OGIfestpatch-1.4.1.2.tar.gz

This revised patch package was created at The VILLAGE at Rutgers
University for use in RUTH:

DESCRIPTION

This package includes a set of bug fixes for the Festival TTS system
created by CSTR at the University of Edinburgh, designed to work with
Festival version 1.4.1, released December 1999.  The bug fixes have been 
reported to CSTR and are needed for proper functionality of OGIresLPC.

INSTALLATION
------------
1) Uncompress the tar file in the directory above festival/

	gunzip OGIfestpatch*.tar.gz

2) If your version of tar does not like to overwrite write-protected files,
   then change the permissions using

	chmod 666 `tar tf OGIfestpatch*.tar`

3) Unpack the synthesizer code into your existing festival 
   and speech_tools installations.

	tar xvf OGIfestpatch*.tar

4) cd to the speech_tools/ directory and remake speech_tools. 
5) cd to the festival/ directory and remake festival.
