Send guidlines to the speakers to encourage better talks. (Explain
target audience, encourage motivation, etc.) (1)

Exclude talk submissions which do not fit into the theme  (1)

Student presentations should be given priority over keynote addresses. (1)

Put the poster session in a room, not in a foyer.  It could have been
in the room with the lunch and the viewing of the posters would have
been greater (and warmer). (1)

Keep workshop lowkey and small (1)

Have more talks about more topics.  Let people choose which lectures
