5.  I co-organized the DIMACS special focus on Next Generation Network Technologies and Applications (Jan 2000--Sept 2002) funded by NSF, NSA and ONR: goal is to help isolate algorithmic issues in next generation networks (eg., wireless, cable, etc.) across all layers. See the summer school  I co-organized on the Fundamentals of Wireless Networking at DIMACS during August 7--19, 2000.
