Here's a nice closeup of my little face. The tubes you can see going into my nose are called ``cpap'' for continuous positive airway pressure. They are pretty uncomfortable, but they help keep my lungs inflated so I don't have to exert myself as much. Also, when I get really upset, the doctors give me extra oxygen through the tubes.
Here I am still using the cpap tubes for breathing. However, I'm inside an isolette instead of on the warming table where I spent my early days. The isolette is quieter and less bright so I can spend more of my time sleeping and growing.
Since I can't talk yet, I try to express myself using facial expressions. Here I'm pouting to show that I'm a little bit uncomfortable.
My mommy got me all sorts of neat new clothes through ``The Preemie Store And More!'' in California. This light blue outfit is one of my favorites. Of course, here you can only see the matching hat.
Here I am breathing through a nasal canula, which is much more comfortable than some of the things I had to deal with when I was little.
This is a view of me in my isolette (incubator). Next to me is my friend Lambchop. If I keep growing the way I have been, I'll be much bigger than her in no time.
