Sings a few recognizable tunes (Wallace and Gromit theme, Peter's theme from Peter and the Wolf, Lyle the Crocodile). Breaks into song. Explains sophisticated situations, but not perfectly. Can answer "which of these is not X". NOV 97 Walks up steps two at a time, uses bathroom on his own -JAN 98 (needs help putting pants back on), can use computer mouse on his own, knows most lowercase letters and their sounds, can recite Hanukah prayer, inserts CD-ROM, presses ``play'' on VCR. FEB 98- 3 pieces of pizza, jump two feet at a time up a step, APR 98 most poops on toilet, counts objects up to four, sat through first light opera (Iolanthe). MAY 98- no diapers, dresses self, played Games magazine with me, FEB 99 puts on shoes (velcro), listens to complete chapter books, can recognize and imitate some accents, recognizes whistled tunes, starting to put sounds together MAR 99- First spontaneous pattern play (putting blue balls on FEB 00 blue pedestals, etc.). MAR 00- Reading, simple addition, writes all letters and numbers, helps play with Molly, spelling (sometimes so Molly wouldn't understand), enjoying school, wrote and illustrated "Mousie and Meow" for Young Authors' Week.
