What do you like best about this course?:

Papers and topics of the lecture are the latest in networking technology.

The syllabus of this course is cutting-edge. You get to learn a lot of stuff about Internet and computer networks, in general by reading research papers.

The methods of the professor for explaining the concepts to the depth of it.

The way it was taught and the professor's energy for all 3 hours of the class duration

The professor covers the basics required for understanding the material without assuming that to be prerequisite.

The material covered.

The new knowledge from paper

THE CONTENT and the way professor teaches. He involves students to answers questions and generates interest

If you were teaching this course, what would you do differently?:

I would focus more on concepts of topics and less on number of papers discussed.

I would rather slow down a bit. Sometimes the professor rushes things really fast and it is sometimes hard to catch up with the pace.

Give more assignments probably so that students read the research papers regularly

Papers for the midterm and end-term exam should be listed in the beginning of the semester.

Change the timing

I don't know, the professor is already very good.

More projects to help understand better and include videos to demonstrate concepts

In what ways, if any, has this course or the instructor encouraged your intellectual growth and progress?:

Reading papers, Regular Assignments, Mid Term, Finals and Project.

By reading research papers about YouTube or Netflix to high speed routers architecture.

The course and professor helped me enhance my knowledge to the core of this subject.

By talking about the latest developments in the technology, this course made it even more interesting to know about the technical details as we could relate to the material that was taught

It has helped me understand why research in the area still holds meaning.

help us know what is going on on recently on the area of networking.

I was always scared of networks as I never really understood how things actually work inside them. Now I have a clear understanding and I'm interested in learning further.

Other comments or suggestions::

The professor should try to reduce number of papers discussed per class. The class in 3hrs long and even if students are interested during initial hours, they get over loaded with number of papers discussed per class and this causes most of the students to lose focus by the time the class ends. The information is too much for 3hrs duration.

If I had a chance, I would take this course again just to learn new stuff about Networks. The professor is one of the best in Rutgers and undoubtedly, during my two years of study in Rutgers, this is by far the best course I have ever taken. Keep up the good work, Professor! :)

I hate this course because we need to read so many papers but in the meanwhile I like this course for the same reason, because these paper really broaden my scope of knowledge. And the professor is very nice, I will give strong recommendation to this course.
