Legacy Curriculum

This curriculum is available only to students in the program before Fall 2005; such students may also follow the new curriculum. A student who takes a leave of more than two semesters must complete the current requirements. This description is a summary of what is contained in the 2003-2005 NB Undergraduate Catalog.

Requirements for the BA Degree:

  • Seven required courses in Computer Science:
    111, 112, 205, 206, 211, 323, 344
  • Three required courses in mathematics:
    151, 152, 250
  • Four electives from the list of electives (except 323)

Requirements for the BS degree

  • Nine required courses in Computer Science:
    111, 112, 205, 206, 211, 314, 323, 344, 416
  • Three required courses in Mathematics:
    151, 152, 250
  • Three electives from the list of electives (except 323)
  • Two Physics courses with laboratories: either
    1. Physics 203-204 and 205-206, or
    2. Physics 123-124 and 227-229, or
    3. Physics 193-194
No more than one grade of D can be accepted in the courses required for the major.
