Internet Certificate Program
The objective of the Internet Certificate Program is to teach the set
of principles and skills necessary to build large WWW based software
applications, to understand the internal workings of the Internet
protocols, and to maintain and manage large Web sites. Students who
earn this certificate will include Web designers and
implementors, Web Masters and Network
Administrators. The course of study will stress "hands on"
knowledge with a large number of programming assignments and projects.
These key principles and skills included in this program are
Distributed Systems, WWW, networking protocols, network management,
Web-based software development tools, advanced user interfaces, and
Web server design. In order to earn an Internet Certificate students
must earn a grade of B or better in each of the following courses:
The Internet Certificate is granted in conjunction with completion of a B.A. or B.S. degree in Computer Science from Rutgers New Brunswick.
