Description
This course is designed for transfer students who have taken an
equivalent course to 198:111 in a language other than Java.
This course is intended for students who have programmed in a language
other than Java (such as C, C++, Python) and need to learn how to write object-oriented programs in Java, so that they are prepared to take upper-level courses in computer science. It covers all the fundamental aspects of Java including data, control structures, classes, objects, inheritance, exceptions, input-output and core libraries.

Prerequisite: Equivalent to 198:111 (in a language other than Java)
This course may not be used for major credit.
