System Announcement

  • Academic Integrity login restrictions will be turned on February 18th, 2008.
  • The following directories will be cleared on March 1st. If you have files in these directories and wish to keep them, please contact help@cs.rutgers.edu

  • USB mounting should automatically occur when plugging in a usb key during a Gnome desktop session. Make sure to right click and select "Unmount" before removing the key from the machine.
  • Class accounts for Spring 2008 can now be opened. Follow this link to add yourself to a class account. Welcome back...

  • Need to change your password? Do you know your eden or rci password? Log onto https://www.cs.rutgers.edu/common/admin/password/ using your eden or rci password and change your CS Unix password.

  • Trouble loggin in? Have you not acknowledged the DCS Academic Integrity Policy at http://www.cs.rutgers.edu/policies/academicintegrity/index.php?page=4. If you haven't yet, your account will be disabled.

  • LISP: Please run lisp on ringo, john, or murray. Running it on paul or george is detrimental to graduate cluster performance.

  • ACCOUNTS CLOSED -- Your account has been closed if you meet any of the following criteria:
    • You are NOT a DCIS graduate student
    • You are NOT currently enrolled in a DCIS course
    • Your are NOT a TA for a DCIS course
    If your account has been closed and think that we should reopen your account, please email help@cs.rutgers.edu. We apologize if we have closed accounts incorrectly. If your account should be legitimately open, we will reopen it ASAP.
