The industrial panel session will be part of the PLDI'99 technical program on Monday, May 3rd, 4:00-5:00 PM. Each panelist will represent a different area of rapidly emerging technology. The session will begin with a short presentation by each panelist in answer to the question: Over the past 1-2 years, what has been the most exciting (interesting) technology emerging in your area? Give specifics. A few questions will be directed to the panelists by the moderator, Dr. Michael Burke, to spark discussion and then questions will be taken from the audience. Interaction between panelists and attendees is the goal of this one hour session.
