  DARPA 101: Everything You Wanted to Know About DARPA
 
  William Regli, PhD, Deputy Director, Defense Sciences Office, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency  (DARPA), on Friday, October 21st, 1:00pm in the CoRE Auditorium
  The seminar will be especially useful for faculty members whose research interests overlap with the Defense Sciences Office or any of the other DARPA offices. One of six technical offices within the agency, the Defense Sciences Office identifies and pursues high-risk/high-payoff fundamental research initiatives across a broad spectrum of science and engineering disciplines including materials science, computing and autonomy, engineering design and manufacturing, physics, chemistry, mathematics, and social science.
 
  If you would like to meet with Dr. Regli to discuss potential research projects, please complete the attached white paper form and submit to res-dev@rutgers.edu by Thursday, September 29, 2016.  The Defense Sciences Office will review the projects and select those most in line with funding priorities.
