Additional service requests should be emailed to help@cs.rutgers.edu

Types of requests that are available:

DHCP - Dynamic host configuring. This allows a host to be assigned either a static or dynamic address from our DHCP server whenever the machine is powered on.

FIREWALL - This is a service in which traffic can be filtered to or from a host or network. Restrictions can be by protocal and/or port.

NAT - A NAT network allows a machine to be very secure like a firewall by being placed in a private IP space.

Multiple machine subnets - If you have multiple machines to connect to the network, or your machines will be self administered by you or a student, then the machine(s) should be placedon its own separate subnet. We have three different types of subnets (Public IP, Rutgers Private and LCSR Private. If you are interested in additional network space please contact us and we will discuss your options in person.
