Operation: Instructional Lab (iLab)

Introduction

Three computer labs containing approximately 60 machines are provided for Computer Science students and faculty as an instructional resource. These machines are accessible remotely via ssh or directly via keycard access upon the request of a course instructor. In addition to individual use, the labs are used for Computer Science recitations as well as on-line programming exams. Outside of the Computer Science Department, other departments have used the rooms to sponsor special events.

The iLab supports the following resources at these locations.

    • 16 machines

Usage Guides

Computer Science Undergraduates can obtain a computer account and remote access to the iLab here. Computer Science Faculty and Graduate Students can requests accounts by emailing help@cs.rutgers.edu.
