Student iLaboratory Assistant Job Available


Title:
Student iLab Assistant
Objective:
Seeking motivated individual wishing to become part of the Computer Science Department here at Rutgers University. The iLab assistant will act in an academic assistance capacity at our instructional laboratories located on the second floor of the Hill building, working in our classroom labs and our new collaborative lab.
Starting:
As Soon As Possible
Hours:
Available hours of work are 3pm-11pm, Sunday-Thursday. 10-15 hours of work per week is required during the school semester.
Wage:
Starting $10/hour.
Experience and Skills:
Some skills desired. but guided instruction will be given, but the new hire must be able to learn on their own through sources provided.
  • Some familiarity with Linux.
  • Simple Troubleshooting (Eclipse, Java, perhaps some C).
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Good People Skills.
College Enrollment:
Applicants ARE REQUIRED to be enrolled in Rutgers University to apply. If you are enrolled, all grade levels are welcome to apply.
Overview:

The Laboratory for Computer Science Research (LCSR) is currently looking for a Student iLab Assistant.

Primary responsibilities may include...

  • First level academic assistance response for all CS problems.
  • Some documentation and side projects are possible.
  • Physical labor may be required on occasion.
  • Much, much more, but it will be fun.
