Microsoft, the School of Communication, Information and Library Sciences, and the Department of Computer Science have set up a program under Microsoft's Academic Alliance that makes a significant collection of Microsoft development software available at no charge to their faculty, staff, and students.

The repository contains several packages including Windows XP Professional, Visual Studio.Net 2003 Professional, Project Professional 2003, and Visio Professional 2003.

The software may be downloaded from http://elms.scilsnet.rutgers.edu/ and installed on a dormitory, home, or office machine. All that is required is your Rutgers NetID and password(rci or eden).
