Rutgers CS graduate student Arati Baliga has won the Best Student Paper award at the prestigious 2008 Annual Computer Security Applications Conference (ACSAC) for joint work with her advisor Liviu Iftode, and another Rutgers CS professor, Vinod Ganapathy. Their paper "
Automatic Inference and Enforcement of Kernel Data Structure Invariants" will be presented next month in Anaheim. In addition to recognition, the prize comes with a monetary award to defray Arati's expenses.
